Boxer Achievements in Spar Grand Prix 2016

On Thursday 24 November, the Boxer Athletics Club was awarded the top prize of Spar Grand Prix 2016 Best Club Award. Our Chairman, Rhyn Swanepoel was in Johannesburg and accepted the award on behalf of the Club.

The final Spar Grand Prix standing saw 5 Boxer Athletics Club ladies in the Top 10: Lebogang Phalula 2nd, Lebo Phalula 4th, Cornelia Joubert 6th, Janie Grundling 8th & Simonay Weitsz 10th. Simonay also took 1st Junior spot and Marelise Retief 13th place.

On Friday 25 November, Simonay was awarded the Central Gauteng Junior Athlete of the Year Award 2016.
