WE DID IT!
With the final Spar Ladies 10km that took place in Johannesburg on Sunday – 9 October, the Spar Grand Prix series came to an end. The Spar Grand Prix is a series of 10km races that took place in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
Boxer Athletics Club finished the series as the overall winner in the club competition, beating KPMG and Nedbank. The following ladies all finished in the top 10 of the Grand Prix series, namely Lebogang Phalula (2nd), Lebo Phalula (4th), Cornelia Joubert (6th), Janie Grundling (8th) and Simonay Weitsz (10th). Simonay Weitsz was also the overall winner in the Junior Category.
